Welcome

We are a welcoming group of amateur radio enthusiasts based in Derbyshire. We explore radio communication, host events, take part in portable operations, and provide training for newcomers. Whether you're a seasoned operator or just starting out, you'll find a friendly community here to learn, share, and enjoy the world of amateur radio together.

Where?

We meet every Monday at 7 PM at the Post Mill Centre, except on bank holidays.

When the weather is appropriate, we also operate portable from a number of locations in Derbyshire

Whats On?

Technical Evenings Join us on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at the Post Mill Centre for our technical evenings. These sessions are perfect for operating radios, participating in show-and-tells, and exploring a variety of technical topics related to amateur radio.

Social Mondays Gather with fellow enthusiasts on the other Mondays for an informal evening of discussions and socializing, where all topics related to amateur radio are welcome.

Field Operations On Saturdays, weather permitting, enjoy operating in the great outdoors! We venture out into various beautiful locations across the Derbyshire Countryside to practice and enhance our field operating skills.

Weekly Net Gathering Tune in every Tuesday at 7 PM on 145.450 MHz (or nearby frequencies) for our club’s weekly net. Connect with fellow radio enthusiasts, share updates, and discuss various topics in amateur radio. Join us to stay engaged and informed!
